• Black thread for the mouth
• 12mm safety eyes
• 5mm crochet hook
• Fiber fill
• Yarn needle

• FLO- front loop only
• BLO- back look only

Stem:

(In white)

Row 1: ch 2, 6 sc in second chain from hook (we will do this technique instead of the magic ring because this yarn doesn’t work well with magic rings)

Row 2: inc in each sc around (12)

Row 3: (sc, inc)*6 times (18)

Row 4: (2 sc, inc)*6 times (24)

Row 5: BLO, sc 24 (24)

Row 6: sc 24 (24)

Row 7: 3 sc, 3 dec, 6 sc, 3 dec, 3 sc (18)

Row 8-11 (4 rows): sc around (18)

Fasten off. Leave a long tail to sew to cap.

Attach 12 mm safety eyes between rows 5 and 6 with 3 stitches in between. make sure to place the eyes in the center of the stem so the 6 dec from row 7 end up 3 on each side of the safety eyes (but one row above)

Stitch the smile on then stuff firmly
